Natasha Hay

TRE Practitioner & Teacher

Background

As a single mother of three children, Natasha has been shaped and humbled by the challenges and joys of parenting. She works as a teacher and is currently training as a TRE (Trauma Release Exercises) Facilitator, continually embracing new learning and growth. Natasha values the power of resilience - not in avoiding challenges, but in how we choose to navigate them.

Expertise

Natasha specialises in supporting children and teens, particularly those experiencing emotional needs, anxiety, ASD, and ADHD. She draws on approaches such as yoga, breathwork, mindfulness, and TRE to create grounded, holistic support. Her focus is on listening deeply, empathising, and offering practical tools that help children and families feel safe and understood.

Connection to the Mission

Natasha is inspired by the opportunity to learn and grow alongside fellow members of the PeacePath Circle. For her, ‘finding peace in the little sounds’ means quieting the busyness of the mind and grounding herself through the sounds of her environment. She sees her expertise contributing to HushAway® by helping families navigate diagnoses and challenges with empathy, humanity, and holistic practices that create a sense of calm.

Lived Experience & Insights

Through her own journey with her son and her work alongside occupational therapists and parents, Natasha has gained valuable techniques and insights into children’s wellbeing. She recognises the vital role of calm, sensory- friendly spaces in supporting children to regulate themselves, manage daily demands, and reintegrate with a sense of peace and balance.

Vision & Impact

Natasha is excited about the potential of combining sound, science, and storytelling to bring relief and support to families living in an overstimulated, fast- paced world. Looking ahead, she believes education will need to transform significantly in the next decade to better embrace diverse learning needs and provide children with the skills and support to thrive authentically.

Fun Fact

Natasha’s happy place is her garden. She finds joy in having her hands in the soil, creating and nurturing life, and watching it grow - a grounding practice that brings her calm and fulfilment.
