Dr. Craig Harris Richard has been researching Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) since 2014. His research has led to the first published brain scan of ASMR activity, the largest ASMR database, the Simon & Schuster ASMR book ‘Brain Tingles’, the popular ASMR podcast ‘Calm History’, the top ASMR website ‘ASMRUniversity.com’, and a TED Talk about ASMR with over 2 million views.

Dr. Richard received his Ph.D. in physiology from Albany Medical College, completed his postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and is currently a professor of biomedical sciences at the Bernard J Dunn School of Pharmacy at Shenandoah University in Virginia.
