Children’s Privacy and Parental Consent

Last updated: October 2026

Our commitment
HushAway® is designed to support emotional regulation, calm and focus for children aged four to ten through sound-based experiences. We take children’s safety and privacy seriously.

Parent, guardian or educator responsibility
Accounts must be created by a parent, guardian or educator aged 18 or over. Parents, guardians and settings are responsible for supervising children’s use of the platform.

Personal information
We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children without appropriate consent. Any account information collected is provided by the parent, guardian or educator. In our school programmes, children are recorded by first initial only, and we never ask for full names, dates of birth, photographs or records.

Safe content design
HushAway® content is designed to be supportive, age-appropriate and focused on emotional wellbeing.

If we discover child data
If we discover that personal information has been collected from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete that information promptly.
